Only on the Beach: The Big Mouth

Driving along the beaches, you may have passed a Candy Kitchen. The shops are full of different candies, homemade fudge and homemade ice cream.

The latest addition to the menu is “The Big Mouth.” It’s some of their own ice cream in between two homemade brownies on a popsicle stick. It’s dipped in chocolate and then you can top it off with sprinkles or nuts.

You can get this triple treat for $4 at any of their three locations along Gulf Boulevard. They are open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day except Christmas.

Although this dessert is new, the first store has been around for over half a century. The Madeira Beach location is the newest, and it’s been opened since January 1st of last year.
