Bayway Bridge Plans Unveiled at Open House
The Department of Transportation will host an open house to answer questions about the Bayway Bridge replacement program.

The long-awaited is coming soon, and and the Florida Department of Transportation is holding an open house to answer questions about the project.
The open house is scheduled for Jan. 31, 5-7 p.m., at the Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove, 6800 Sunshine Skyway Lane S.
It will feature display boards and information. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

There will be no presentation, so guests are encouraged to come and go as they please.
The plans involve rebuilding the Bayway bridge from a two-lane drawbridge to a four-lane, fixed height bridge.

The high-level replacement bridge is expected to decrease traffic delays.
