Pass-A-Grille Fish Broil Gets Cooking Oct. 20

The 82nd Annual Fish Broil and Mullet Festival is hitting Pass-A-Grille on October 20.

Pass-A-Grille, one of the many historic districts on the beaches of Pinellas, is keeping its history going strong with this year's fish broil.

Pass-A-Grille will be celebrating its 82nd Annual Fish Broil and Mullet Festival this Saturday, October 20 at Hurley Park.

The Fish Broil and Mullet Festival is about the tradition of cooking fish in Pass-A-Grille. There will be fish to eat that has cooked the same way since 1930, over hot coals on mattress springs.

In addition, there's going to be a permanent grill put into place in Hurley Park. Grill tiles that can be customized with a name will be on sale at the festival.

While there's going to be lots of great fish to eat, there's also a lot of fun experiences as well. There's going to be a carnival starting a 3 p.m. that will feature bounce houses, games for the kids, face painting and a photo booth.
