Patch Gives Back at Blackthorn Memorial Park
Patch is joining with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to clean up the beach clean up.

Tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., the editor of Pinellas Beaches Patch, myself, will be heading out to Blackthorn Memorial Park to help clean up and give back to our great community.
While delivering the news that you want to hear is a big part of what we do here at Patch, we also want to be a part of the community and help out where we can.
We’re partnering with Keep Pinellas Beautiful, who’ll show us exactly what areas we can help out with most and help us make a difference for the better in Pinellas county.

While Pinellas Beaches Patch and other Patches are heading out no matter what, we’d like to invite anyone with a aspiration to help the environment to join us. We’ll be meeting up at 8:30 a.m. and cleaning up until around 10:30 a.m. Make sure to wear appropriate clothes and closed-toed shoes and bring along some sunscreen, gloves and a bottle of water.
The park is located at the I-275 rest area just north of the Sunshine Skyway by the fishing piers.
