Pedestrian Killed in Indian Rocks Shopping Center

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck at the entrance to Indian Rocks Shopping Center on Tuesday morning.

 responded to an accident at the shopping center, at 12022 Indian Rocks Road. Officials say Sean M. Sau of Largo lost control of his 2005 Dodge Dakota while traveling north on Indian Rocks Road.

His truck left the road and hit Misty D. Jones, who was standing at the entrance to the parking lot, officials said.  

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are conducting a criminal investigation, and charges are pending.
