Photos: Belly Dancing with Fire

Upham Beach was full of dancers, music and fire on Saturday night. The local dance studio, , along with headed out to the beach for a traditional bellydancing show. Spectators got in the middle of a circle and watched as the girls danced to the music of the Sunset Hookah Band. Visitors were encouraged to partake of a hookah, a water pipe used for smoking flavored tobacco, as they watched. When the sun set, the ladies of Hip Expressions brought out implements for performing fire dancing, a dangerous, but beautiful, practice.
