Photos: Homeless Pet Day at the SPCA of Tampa Bay
The SPCA put on a party with the goal of finding new homes for furry friends.
The SPCA of Tampa Bay had a party for National Homeless Pet's Day this past Saturday.
Featuring a cookout and games for kids, the point of the party was to get as many animals adopted as possible.
Guests were free to visit with the multitude of animals at the SPCA to try and find a suitable friend to bring home.

In addition to the festivities, the SPCA also accepted a check for $6,000 from the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show.
By the end of the weekend, 35 animals had found a new home.
