Pinellas Park To Host Virtual Candidates Debate For City Council
The Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual open forum debate for the city council candidates.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — The Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual open forum debate for the candidates running to fill the city of Pinellas Park City Council Seat 2.
Pinellas Park will host a special election Aug. 18 to fill the unexpired term of City Council Seat 2. The seat was previously held by Councilwoman Patricia "Patti" Johnson, who died Feb. 26 at the age of 74 after battling cancer.
The debate will be a virtual "Go To Meeting" on July 15 at 7 p.m. Residents will be able to submit questions to be answered by each candidate. Questions should be focused on local issues such as the municipal budget including staffing and city department operations, taxes and the city's tax base, capital improvement projects, the residential and commercial development Community Redevelopment Areas.
