Pinellas Park Mom Accused Of Driving Drunk With 2 Kids In Car

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A 24-year-old mother of two has been charged with child neglect and driving under the influence after being involved in a crash Friday night.

According to the arrest report, Mckaila Aguiar was involved in a crash just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Belcher Road.

When police arrived, they said there were two children in the back seat and Aguiar showed signs of intoxication. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, she provided two breath samples that showed blood-alcohol levels of .199 and .203. The legal limit is .08.

There were no injuries reported.
