Pinellas Park Offers Free Permits For Home Improvements

On Saturday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be trash and yard waste drop-off sites throughout Pinellas Park.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Now through Friday, March 26, the city of Pinellas Park's Building Development Division will celebrate the kick-off of Pride in the Park by issuing free permits for specific construction and repair work on residential properties.

Pinellas Park will offer residents the ability to obtain a free permit for home improvement projects such as roofing, alterations, minor repairs, fencing, deck work, barns, sheds, trees, patios and concrete driveways.

The program starts just prior to the city's Pride in the Park Spring Cleanup program scheduled for Saturday, March 13.

The Pride in the Park Spring Cleanup encourages residents to improve their properties' appearance by disposing of trash and yard waste (including tires).

  • Bank of America rear parking lot, 5100 block of 72nd Avenue
  • Broderick Park, 6700 block of 62nd Street
  • City property at the northwest corner of 78th Avenue and 60th Street
  • Home Depot parking lot, 4040 Park Boulevard
  • Pinebrook Park parking lot, 7202 118th Ave.
  • Sacred Heart Church parking lot, 8011 46th St.
  • Skyview Recreation parking lot, 5400 block of 90th Avenue
