PINELLAS PARK, FL — A temporary Station 36 is now open at 4050 80th Ave. in Pinellas Park and the Pinellas Park Fire Department will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the permanent Fire Station 36 Wednesday at 9 a.m. at 4050 80th Ave., Pinellas Park.

The event is open to the public and one or more city council members, along with city administration and staff, will be in attendance.

Station 36 will house Squad 36 and Lieutenant of Rescue 36.

"We are excited to announce the opening of this station which expands our presence in the area in order to provide faster service to our residents,"said Deputy Fire Chief Rob Angell.
