Pinellas Park Police Make Arrest In Shooting Death
Pinellas Park Police have made an arrest in the death of a Palm Harbor man who was shot at a Pinellas Park apartment complex.

PINELLAS PARK, FL -- Pinellas Park Police have made an arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of a Palm Harbor man at a Pinellas Park apartment complex.
Shortly before midnight on Saturday, Nov. 17, officers responded to a shooting at the Cedar Hollow Apartments, 7231 Cedar Court. The caller indicated that a man was lying on the ground following a disturbance.
Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene and immediately rendered aid to Lawrence Lee Fagan, 63, of the 3700 block of Darston Street, Palm Harbor, who had been shot. Rescue personnel transported the man to an area hospital where he died

On Monday night, police arrested Corey Montego Small, 40, of St. Petersburg and charged him with second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
During their investigation, homicide detectives learned that Fagan and Small got into a verbal argument inside an apartment at the complex just before midnight on Friday.

Detectives believe that during the argument Small shot Fagan multiple times.
