Pinellas Park Woman Claims $2 Million Top Scratch-Off Prize
Judy Caron, 74, of Pinellas Park, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $10 Gold Rush Classic scratch-off game.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — The Florida Lottery announced that Judy Caron, 74, of Pinellas Park, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $10 Gold Rush Classic scratch-off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $1,405,000.
Caron purchased her winning ticket from Circle K, 6661 54th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
The $10 game $2 million Gold Rush Classic launched in January and offers more than $246.8 million in prizes, including 10 top prizes of $2 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
