TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A section of the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail in Tarpon Springs will be closed to complete routine maintenance and repairs from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 10. The closure is located from Live Oak Street to Disston Avenue. Signage is posted in the area to alert trail users of the closure and to ensure bicyclist and pedestrian safety. Trail users will be detoured along Live Oak Street. This annual Independence Day celebration at St. Pete Pier is filled with fun activities for all, including a pier run, a craft beer garden, Uncle Sam’s Market, a family fun zone, food trucks and vendors, live music, roaming entertainers, and a 9 p.m. fireworks show on July 4.
