Plans Uncertain for St. Pete Beach Police Building
Currently, the city is unsure of what to do with the specialized building.

With the St. Pete Beach Police gone, the question comes down to what will be done with the building that they used.
The City of St. Pete Beach currently doesn't know what to do with the building now that the St. Pete Beach Police are gone, according to My Fox Tampa Bay.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office only required a few offices and those were found in the St. Pete Beach City Hall.

While there is office space, much of the building is specialized with holding cells, a dispatch room, a parking garage and hardening to withstand a category 5 hurricane.
Mayor McFarlin has said that the city will find a use for the building and won't be demolishing it.
