Police Plan Operation Medicine Cabinet

Law enforcement agencies will collect unused prescription medications on April 28 at multiple locations around PInellas County, including one in St. Pete Beach.

The St. Pete Beach Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, will be hosting a drop off event for those citizens who wish to dispose of unused or expired prescription drug medications.

On April 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., citizens may dispose of their medications at the Dolphin Village Shopping Center at 4655 Gulf Blvd., in St. Pete Beach. Other nearby locations are listed below.

No bio-hazard items or needles will be accepted. Program intended for the citizens of Pinellas County and not for commercial use.

Drop off locations include:

  • Sweetbay Supermarket  6851 Gulfport Blvd, South Pasadena 
  • Sweetbay Supermarket  955 62nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg
  • Walgreens  5701 22nd Avenue South, Gulfport
