Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver Who Critically Injured Pedestrian
Pinellas Park police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a 58-year-old man as he was crossing 66th Street North.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a 58-year-old man as he was crossing 66th Street North Wednesday.
According to police, at 9:15 p.m., the 58-year-old man was walking across 66th Street North near Bryan Dairy Road when he was struck by a 2013 Ford work van and a black older-model single-cab pickup truck.
The driver of the van, Kenny Valle, 31, of St. Petersburg, remained at the scene. The pickup truck driver fled following the accident.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries. He remains in the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the pickup truck is described as a heavyset Black man, about 50 years old.
