Remembering Those Lost at Sea

While walking through John's Pass on your way to see the sights and shop, you'll likely see the tribute for the fishermen who have been lost at sea.

The giant hand cradling a boat being thrashed by the waves was erected in April of this year and stands by the center of the John's Pass Boardwalk.

Along the bottom of the memorial, there's a plaque naming the fishermen who have been lost at sea from John's Pass.

The memorial is a uniquely beach idea set in a location that encourages people to stand and reflect on those who are remembered by it.
