Rescue of the Week: Ella

Ella is a solid gray, medium hair young beauty with a charming personality. On May 22, Ella came to SPCA Tampa Bay because her owner developed allergies. 

More than 10 million people in the U.S. have cat allergies, which are twice as common as dog allergies. Some cat allergies are not known until the owner lives with the pet for a few months. Doctors can provide a series of allergy shots to help diminish the reaction, but it doesn't typically eliminate a dander allergy. 

SPCA Tampa Bay says Ella can be a bit bashful when you first meet her, but give her a few minutes and she will show you her true colors.
