Residents Of Freedom Square Award Employee Education Grants
Freedom Square of Seminole's Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of Freedom Square employees further their education since 1999.

SEMINOLE, FL — Freedom Square of Seminole’s Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of Freedom Square employees further their education since it began in 1999. In the last three years alone, the fund has awarded 76 financial aid packages to team members who are also students attending 14 different local colleges and universities.
Four members of the Freedom Square Scholarship Fund Board of Directors, Stuart Stauss, Tom Dolin, Patricia Lengell, Sandy Klockenthoer, visited Jersey College School of Nursing where some scholarship recipients study. They toured the campus, classrooms, and learning laboratories located at Largo Medical Center with Dana Bemis, Career Services Director. Classes at Jersey College of Nursing are conducted year-round, with school terms beginning in January, May, and September. Thanks to Freedom Square residents who donated to the Freedom Square Scholarship Fund and made the educational support of these Associates possible!
This year, Freedom Square residents were proud to present grants paid directly to the school the employee/student attends. These funds will assist with tuition and other necessary resources that are vital to our employees’ educational pursuits. Our 11 recipients this year include:·
