Romney in St. Pete Wednesday

Mitt Romney plans to make a campaign stop in St. Petersburg Wednesday at the , 737 3rd Ave. N., according to the candidate's campaign website.

Doors open at 8 a.m., and the program begins at 8:45 a.m. To attend the event, you can RSVP to TeamFl@MittRomney.com. Members of the public also can submit email online at Romney's campaign website to RSVP. 

The presumed GOP presidential nominee will be in Tampa on Wednesday as well for a private fundraiser at the Avila Golf and Country Club. Supporters who want to attend that event have to pay $2,500 per person.
