Sand Key Parking to Change
The parking at Sand Key will change from a hourly to a daily payment format.

Pinellas County will be changing the way that parking is paid for at early next month, according to a story from the St. Petersburg Times.
Instead of the hourly rate of $1, parking will instead cost a flat $5 for a day of parking.
The change is coming because the payment method is considered more efficient for the county to collect, according to the article by the St. Petersburg Times.
