Seminole Man Dies In Head-On Crash Sunday
A 56-year-old Seminole man has died following an accident Sunday, Dec. 30 at Starkey Road and Magnolia Drive.

SEMINOLE, FL -- A 56-year-old Seminole man has died following an accident Sunday, Dec. 30 at Starkey Road and Magnolia Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, just before 3 p.m., a 2013 Dodge Challenger driven by Robert Lee Fournier, 56, of Seminole, was traveling south on Starkey Road when he turned into the path of a Lincoln Mark LT driven by Roger Lee Edwards, 50, of Seminole who was headed north on Starkey.
The Dodge came to a rest in the northbound lanes. The Lincoln struck a concrete bench, a street sign and a wooden fence before overturning and hitting a utility pole.

Fournier was taken to St. Petersburg General Hospital where he died.
Edwards was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with critical injuries. His passenger, Christopher T. Clark, 47, of Seminole was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
