SEMINOLE, FL — Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives arrested a 19-year-old Seminole woman Monday after she was accused of sexual battery on a 6-year-old girl.
Multiple batteries are alleged to have occurred between August and September at a home in Pinellas County.
Detectives began their investigation Oct. 4 after the Florida Department of Children and Families received a report of sexual abuse involving a 6-year-old. Detectives said Erica Michelle Charles of Indian Key Trail was babysitting the 6-year-old at the girl's home when she showed the girl pornographic videos on her cell phone and told the girl to perform a sex act on Charles.
