Seminole Woman Killed After Colliding With Barrier Wall

SEMINOLE, FL — A 37-year-old Seminole woman has died following an accident Monday at 102nd Avenue North and 97th Street North.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 12:15 a.m., Shawn Michelle Bodden was driving a Chevrolet HHR west on 102nd Avenue North, approaching the intersection of 97th Avenue North when she lost control and his a barrier wall and a guardrail.

Bodden died at the scene. Her passenger, Rene Joseph Bergeron, 39, of Seminole, was taken to Bayfront Health in serious condition.
