Should Redington Beach Get New Crosswalks?

The Florida Department of Transportation is trying to standardize and roads across Pinellas and is looking to update the crosswalks in Redington Beach, according to an article from The Beach Beacon.

The proposal, which would replace the six crosswalks between 157th to 164th avenues with newer, raised crosswalks, is being considered by the Redington Beach City Council.

Redington Beach officials are scheduled to vote on the matter at the next town meeting on August 21.
