Skip the Mall, Hit the Beach

Black Friday is coming, but why hit up the malls and fight through the masses when you can do something a bit more relaxing.

This Black Friday, Corey Avenue is holding Corey Lights Up, an antithesis to Black Friday Sales.

While there'll be sales going on, with 17 merchants on the strip holding specials, savings are not the main point to go. 

Corey Avenue is great place to stroll on a standard day, and the merchants are pulling out all the stops to make the day fun and relaxed on Black Friday.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be live music from Big Jim Allen.

If you decide to hang out until 5 p.m., there'll be wine available to everyone of age to sip on while you shop.

So instead of fighting the crowds, you can do the beachy thing this year and make your shopping fun. The event starts at 10 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m.
