St. Pete Beach Public Library

The library is open at its temporary location at 7470 Gulf Blvd. (next to P.J.’s Oyster Bar).

New library hours are Monday-Friday10am-5pm. The library will not be open in the evenings or Saturday or Sunday until further notice.

The book drop is located outside the library 24/7 for patrons to return materials. Curbside pickup service is available if desired; please call the library at (727) 363-9238 to request items. Note: we are not taking donations at this location. Please visit the library webpage (spblibrary.com) for more information about the library or to browse the catalog. Remember you can use Overdrive, Libby, Hoopla and Kanopy to read books, listen to books and music, and watch movies and documentaries, all with your library card.


Expansion of Service Area with Freebee

Effective Monday, July 20th, 2020, Freebee's service area will expand to include the residential neighborhoods of Belle Vista, Lido Beach, and Boca Ciega Isle. The service hours will remain 6:00am-Midnight, 7 days a week.


CITY HALL - OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY-

In an effort to continue to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the City of St. Pete Beach City Hall is open by appointment only.

While the City is taking measures to ensure public and staff safety, we ask that phone calls and electronic tools be utilized.

If you cannot transact your business by phone or online, you may request an in-person meeting.

COMMUNITY CENTER - CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

All gym reservations, morning and evening classes and pickleball programs are cancelled until further notice.

Please note

We will continue to operate our summer camp program as scheduled as well as facility rentals that follow CDC guidelines.

Aquatic classes and programs will remain open and class schedule remains the same.

The front lobby will be open M-F 7:00am - 6:00pm for summer camp parents to make payments if needed.

PASS-A-GRILLE PIER REPAIR

The City of St. Pete Beach has performed an assessment of Merry Pier, 7th Avenue Pier, 11th Avenue Pier, and the 1stAvenue Fishing Pier in Pass-a-Grille. A Contractor has been selected to complete repairs at Merry Pier, 7th Avenue Pierand 11th Avenue Pier with an anticipated construction start date in the Fall of 2020. For the 1st Avenue Fishing Pier, the City and its Consultant are performing an engineering feasibility study to determine the best course of action for making repairs and/or improvements to the pier. Once this study is completed, options for the 1st Avenue Fishing Pier will be presented to the City Commission for discussion and guidance. Stay tuned for updates.
