St. Pete Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Park Boulevard North

SEMINOLE, FL — A 38-year-old motorcyclist from St. Petersburg was killed after crashing into a pickup truck on Park Boulevard North and 84th Lane North Tuesday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 6 a.m. the motorcyclist was headed east at a high rate of speed on Park Boulevard North while another 38-year-old St. Petersburg man was headed west on Park Boulevard North in a pickup truck.

Troopers said the pickup truck driver began to turn left on 84th Lane North. The motorcycle struck the truck and broke into two pieces. The rider was thrown onto the road and died at the scene.

The pickup truck driver was not injured.
