Suncoast Fire Rescue Receives $16,700 in Equipment

Firehouse Subs has donated a utility terrain vehicle and a Medlite transport system to the Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue.

In addition to making sandwiches, Firehouse Subs is making sure to give back those that inspired their name.

Firehouse Subs will be donating equipment valued at $16,700 to the Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue on Thursday, November 29 at Fire Station 27 in Indian Rocks Beach.

The equipment consists of a John Deere Gator Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) and Medlite Transport Deluxe System, which will assist the the Suncoast Fire and Rescue on terrain such as the beach.

Firehouse Subs is giving the equipment as part of the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which provides funding, life-saving equipment and educational opportunities to aid first-responders and public safety organizations.
