Suntan Art Receives State Corporate Support Award

Suntan Art received an award for efforts to keep the programs at the Don Vista Cultural Center going for the residents of St. Pete Beach.

The Don Vista Cultural Center is a one-stop shop for the aspiring and experienced artist.

With great programs run by Suntan Art Center, a volunteer organization running out of the Don Vista, residents of St. Pete Beach can easily learn and practice many different types of art.

For its work with St. Pete Beach, Suntan Art was honored with a Corporate Support Award by the Florida Recreation and Park Association.

Since the city got rid of the recreation assistant positions at the Don Vista, Suntan Art has worked with St. Pete Beach to keep the art programs alive and available for residents of St. Pete Beach.

Suntan Art pays for the costs for the Don Vista and shares the revenue from classes, rentals and sales to keep the programs running on the beach.
