Swigwam Asks Customers to Write the Mayor

The Swigwam is asking it's customers and fans on Facebook to write the St. Pete Beach mayor and commission e-mails showing support of the bar.

The Swigwam is trying to rally it's customers and Facebook fans to write the St. Pete Beach Mayor about the recent decision to rescind the sidewalk priviliges of the Swigwam.

At June 26's St. Pete Beach City Commission meeting, the Swigwam lost it's rights to have their chairs outside and for customers to drink on them. Now the Swigwam is asking people on Facebook to write the mayor telling him how much they enjoy all aspects of the Swigwam.

"Email our commission and mayor to let them know, politely, how you support The SWIGWAM, our chairs, and the privilege to have a beer on the sidewalk," the Swigwam's Facebook stated.
