Talkback: Top Items for a Beach Trip

When planning a beach trip, there’s always a list of things that are needed for a journey out to the water.

While many people will bring the same basics, sunscreen, blanket, umbrella, etc., There is always that special something that’s unique to everyone. Whether it be pair of lucky sunglasses, or your favorite polka dot beach towel or anything else, everyone has one thing that they would go right back home and get if it was forgotten.

We at Patch want to know what your special item is. Let us know what you just have to have on the sand with you and why. Let us know what it is in the comments, by e-mailing me at leigh.armstrong@patch.com, or just by telling me if you see me on the street. As long as it’s an item you wouldn’t hit the beach without, we want to hear about it.

For example, I would never go to the beach without my small toy camera. It’s great for catching unique and flawed images out on the water.
