Tradewinds Resort Evacuated Due To Fire; 3 People Have Minor Injuries

The fire broke out at the St. Pete Beach resort about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, prompting an evacuation of portions of the resort.

ST. PETE BEACH, FL — Three people suffered minor injuries in a fire that prompted the evacuation of TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach early Tuesday morning, according to a report by WFLA News Channel 8.

The fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. and fire officials evacuated all floors on the north half of the building, and the fifth and sixth floors of the Breckenridge Building, according to WFLA.
