Treasure Island Celebrates the Fourth of July

The Fourth of July wasn't just about fireworks on Treasure Island. Throughout the day, bands played to beachgoers while dozens of food vendors satisfied their taste buds.

July Fourth was America's 235th birthday, and Floridians celebrated the way they usually do – by flocking to the beaches for a full day of fun, sun and fireworks.

Treasure Island was no different. Throughout the day, Treasure Island had live bands and dozens of food vendors selling their wares to residents, visitors and vacationers who packed local hotels.

Music lovers soaked up the sun and lounged on the beach to enjoy music. Some were moved to dance, but the heat of the day kept music lovers either in the water or sitting in beach chairs enjoying a cold beverage.
