Treasure Island May Ban All Animals on Beach

Dogs are already banned on the beaches, and Treasure Island may expand that ruling.

Treasure Island is looking at expanding their dog ban to keep all pets off the beaches, according to an article from Bay News 9.

Residents have made complaints to the city about different species of animals being brought on the beaches that may cause a safety issue.

There have been reported pot-bellied pigs, snakes and other exotic animals brought on the the beach.

The issue will be brought up and voted on in the next city commission meeting.
