Treasure Island Student wins Seminole 5K
15-year-old Hunter McCann won the Seminole Stampede 5K for a second year in a row.

Fifteen-year-old Hunter McCann has beat out competition in the Seminole Stampede 5K for a second year in a row, according to an article from the Seminole Beacon.
McCann put in a final time of 17 minutes and 3 seconds for the 3.1 mile race in Walsingham Park.
McCann, a resident of Treasure Island and a student at Madeira Beach Fundamental, beat out his main competitor, 16-year-old Caleb Hudak of Seminole, by seconds.

McCann was trailing Hudak in mid-race, but pushed ahead at the end to pull out the win.
This marks the third win in the past couple weeks for McCann. He took first place in both the Honda Grand Prix 5K and Harvey's 5K in St. Petersburg.
