Unconscious Man on Redington Beach Identified

According to Tampabay.com, the has been identified as Wayne Kozlowski.

Kozlowski, 70, remains hospitalized from his injuries.

A person walking along the beach Thursday morning found a pile of clothing, including Kozlowski’s keys and reported it to the Pinellas County Sherriff’s Office, according to Tampabay.com. Police found Kozlowski’s vehicle, a red Chevrolet Blazer, parked at a shopping center on Gulf Boulevard.

The manager of a mobile home park called the Largo Police with concern for the missing Kozlowski and gave a description of his vehicle, according to Tampabay.com. The Largo Police then shared this information with the Pinellas County Sherriff’s Office and made the connection.

Largo Police met with the mobile home manager at the hospital and he was able to identify Kozlowski, according to Tampabay.com.

Kozlowski’s family in Wisconsin have been notified, according to Tampabay.com
