More than empowerment, Krynytzky has taught many about community. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer 2007, the national belly dancing community rallied to help her through the treatment. Together, they raised $20,000 to help get her back on her feet and dancing.

Four years later, Krynytzky is still dancing and still teaching. She lives by the goal of "Changing the world. One woman at a time."
