Walmart Employee Fatally Shot Behind Store While Taking Break

Police say the employee killed outside the Walmart Neighborhood Market on U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park Friday was "targeted."

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Police say the employee killed outside the Walmart Neighborhood Market on U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park Friday was "targeted."

The employee, Terrell Williams, was taking a break in back of the store at 6900 U.S. 19 at about 11 a.m. when a four-door white sedan with two black men inside pulled up. The men got out and shot Williams multiple times.

Williams was transported to Bayfront Health in Pinellas Park where he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives are examining surveillance video and looking into possible motives. There have been no arrests.
