Looking for something to do this weekend? Check these great events will have you covered for the weekend.
1. If you want to shake it this weekend, why not do it in a culturally aware way? St. Petersburg Nights is putting on an International Dance Party on Sunday at 7 p.m. With music from Brazil, Egypt and other countries from around the world, guests are encouraged to arrive in ethnic garb. The event is free.
2. Are you in the mood to see some comedy? Treat yourself to the wit of Joe DeLion The at the Coconut’s Comedy Club tonight and tomorrow night at 9:30 p.m. Billed as a magican/comedian/mentalist, the show should be entertaining on multiple levels. Tickets are $18.

3. Looking to try something a little different than the same old drink? Check out the vodka tasting at St. Petersburg Nights to taste vodkas from around the world. The event starts tonight at 7p.m., is free and will feature a wide assortment of different types and flavors of vodka.
4. White Linen Night at the Cigar Republic honors the old New Orleans tradition of people wearing white linen to stave off the summer heat. The event is free to go to and there’ll be a best-dressed contest, with the winner taking home a box of cigars. The event is going on tomorrow at 7 p.m.

Postcard Inn is treating music lovers this weekend with the Rock by the Sea event. Featuring bands like Emerson Hart, Lani Daniels and Dirty Shannon, there’s enough bands to please any music lover. The entry is free, but a $50 ticket will give you backstage access, six raffle tickets, two drinks and good feeling knowing that you just helped contribute money to the fight against pediatric cancer. The concert is Sunday and starts at 1 p.m.
