Hi, I'm Leigh Armstrong and I'm your new editor for Pinellas Beaches Patch.

Pinellas Beaches Patch is made up of several smaller communities as far south as Pass-A-Grille and as far north as Sand Key. Each beach community brings its own special flair and makes the Pinellas coast a vibrant and diverse place to live and work. 

Pinellas Beaches Patch wants to be a part of your community. We're not just outsiders looking in. I'm the local editor, and I'm also a new resident of the beach communities. I'm going to bring comprehensive news coverage, information and events to my fellow residents and visitors.

I'll keep things light-hearted and friendly, but I won't be shying away from telling the harder hitting stories that are important to you, either.

We encourage interaction on the site, and I want to hear from you. Every beach community is completely different from its neighbor and that's something that I want to show. So tell me the stories you want to hear!
