Wisdom from Dad

Whether it be words of wisdom or something that you’ve never comprehended or understood, dads always have something to say. Father’s Day is a time to reflect on those moments that left us laughing uncontrollably or lost in thought for the next few days.

We at Patch are interested in what your dad is saying. Let us know the wisest, the funniest and craziest thing your dad has ever said. As long as it’s memorable and from dear old dad, it counts. We’ll take the memorable lines and put them together on Sunday for a collection of dad wisdom across the beaches.

To start things rolling, I have quote from my sometimes philosophical, sometimes hilarious father.

After loaning me money my father told me this:

“Pay me back when you can and don’t stress it. I’ll be living with you when I’m older and you better make sure that I have nice room!”
