Woman Rescued from Strong Current by Teen

When it came down to a split-second decision of life and death, 15-year-old Pedro Hernandez didn't hesitate.

Hernandeze saved a woman who was dragged out by the current in John's Pass on Sunday, according to an article from WTSP.com

Hernandez and his parents were out on the beach by the Pass on Sunday, when they noticed a woman beyond the rocks struggling in the water.

Pedro jumped in immediately and swam over to the woman, who had no energy left after fighting with the waves.

The woman was brought to shore with the help of a couple on a jet ski and is currently in fine condition.
