82-Year-Old Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting Son On Christmas Day

PLANT CITY, FL -- Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are conducting a homicide investigation at 2727 Forbes Road S. in Plant City.

Deputies responded when someone inside the home called 911 on Christmas Day saying that Guy Vickery, 82, shot his son, Benjamin Vickery, 50, in the upper body during an argument.

Benjamin Vickery died of his injuries at South Florida Baptist Hospital.

Detectives are investigating to determine just what caused the elderly man to shoot his son.
