Driver Dies After Striking Rear Of Tractor-Trailer Truck

PLANT CITY, FL -- A driver died Tuesday after striking the rear of a tractor-trailer truck on West Reynolds Street.

According to Plant City Police, at 3:44 a.m. the truck was stopped at a red light on eastbound West Reynolds Street west of North Alexander Street when for unknown reasons a 2016 Honda CRV struck the rear of the truck. The driver of the Honda died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
