Firefighter Made Cannabis Oil At Fire Station, Says Sheriff
A Hillsborough County Fire Rescue lieutenant was arrested Monday after deputies say he used an extractor device to make cannabis oil.

PLANT CITY, FL — A Hillsborough County Fire Rescue lieutenant was arrested Monday after deputies say he used a botanical extractor device to convert marijuana plants into cannabis oil while at work.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies charged Tavoris Allen, 36, with possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies were called to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Station 26 at 5302 Thonotosassa Road in Plant City after someone discovered the extractor machine that was converting two marijuana plants into cannabis oil.

Allen admitted the marijuana and extractor machine were his. He was arrested and released from jail after posting at $2,000 bond.
