Hillsborough Woman Accused Of Shaking 2-Month-Old Baby

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- A 24-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday, April 30, for aggravated child abuse stemming from an incident involving an infant back on April 10.

On April 10, a 2-month-old baby was taken to the hospital after he was found unresponsive by Brienna Craig. During the investigation, detectives determined that the baby suffered numerous injuries consistent with Shaken Baby Syndrome and would likely suffer lifelong affects.

An arrest warrant for aggravated child abuse was obtained for Craig and she was located on April 30 in Polk County, after fleeing Hillsborough County.

Craig was arrested without incident and booked into the Polk County Jail.
