Motorcyclist Killed In Fiery Crash On State Road 60
A 27-year-old Fort Meade man died Saturday after his motorcycle was struck by a cargo van.

PLANT CITY, FL -- A 27-year-old Fort Meade man died Saturday after his motorcycle was struck by a cargo van.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ronald C. Sampson was heading west on State Road 60 just east of Horton Road at about 7:30 p.m. when a cargo van driven by 51-year-old Timothy Bowser of Lakeland turned left onto the eastbound lanes of State Road 60 and ran into Sampson's motorcycle.
The motorcycle caught fire and Sampson died at the scene.
