Plant City Trash Bash to Lead Boot Bay Road Cleanup This Saturday

Plant City Trash Bash will host a community cleanup this Saturday on Boot Bay Road from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., inviting volunteers to come out and help remove litter from an area in need of attention.

The cleanup is part of Plant City Trash Bash’s ongoing mission to fight roadside litter and illegal dumping while building stronger community pride through action. Founder Mike Stocker said the effort is about more than picking up trash — it is about bringing people together to create visible change and show that local residents are willing to step up for the community.

Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. Residents who want to get involved can sign up in advance through the group’s volunteer form and are encouraged to wear bright, comfortable clothing for the event.

Plant City Trash Bash is continuing to grow its local cleanup efforts and is also seeking community support through volunteers, donated supplies, and sponsorships from local businesses.
